First and foremost, we are educators. We are former teachers and administrators, from both public and independent schools, right here in the Granite State. We have walked a mile in your shoes and struggled with the same things you are struggling with. We know what works and what doesn’t, in your setting, with the resources at your disposal.

Our Founder

Harrison has more than 15 years of experience in K-12 schools. He has served as a classroom teacher, athletic director, associate principal, and principal in both public and independent schools. Harrison is also a licensed K-12 Title IX Coordinator and a certified Mediator.

  • Patrick Smith

    SENIOR CONSULTANT

Pat has devoted more than twenty-five years to 9-12 education in the state of New Hampshire. He has been a teacher, an athletic director, a dean of students, an assistant principal, and an admissions director. Pat has also served this same population as a coach and camp director throughout this period of time.

Pat oversees all personnel issues and concerns for TCI, with over two hundred employees and $54 million in annual sales. • Thomas Fitzgerald

    INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT

Tom has been a proud servant of public education in New Hampshire and Vermont for the past thirty years. He has been a classroom teacher, a principal, and a district administrator in six different communities across the Twin States. Hinsdale, Jaffrey, and Lempster were just a few of his stops along the way. (Tom also owns and operates a rescue farm in NH, that has been home to hundreds of unwanted animals, including yaks and water buffalos!)

Most recently Tom was the principal of the Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan, NH. Tom helped shepherd this school - and its five sending towns - through the Covid Pandemic. During this time he also brought a number of innovative programs to the building, including a school-wide advisory program and full integration with the Google suite.

Prior to this most recent post in NH, Tom spent a decade as a principal across the river. Tom made climate and culture a priority. This was particularly imperative and challenging in Whitingham, where he was charged with bringing the district's middle and high schools together under one roof. Tom also devoted a great deal of time and energy to establishing “walk-through” observation practices, inclusive of peer observation, and Proficiency-based Learning.

Tom got his start in education as a high school English teacher. He holds a BA in English from Nathaniel Hawthorne College and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Keene State. Tom also engaged in post-graduate work at Franklin Pierce University. Tom maintains his School (0003) and District (0005) Administrators License in New Hampshire.

The vast majority of educational consultants have not set foot in a classroom since their time as a student. But at LTL Consulting 100% of our client-facing partners have a minimum of ten years experience in K-12 schools. We are able to provide solutions that are realistic and tenable in a school setting, because we are deeply familiar with this setting.
